Recently, the majority of Americans sent a clear message to the Republican party that we reject racism, bigotry and the usual politics of fear and small minded people. This sent the Republican party into a panic and a desperate search for becoming more appealing to more than just rich white people and skinheads.

On December 1, 2000 the United Nations General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution defining the role of conflict diamonds with the intent of cutting off the sources of funding for rebel forces and to help shorten the wars and prevent their recurrence.
